Video filters one thing well

Video is great for an initial conversation, a structured interview, and a take-home review. The signal-to-noise is high and the calendar friction is low.

In person filters a different thing

For final-stage hires, the room tells you something the camera doesn't. How the candidate is with the receptionist, how they handle the unscripted minutes between meetings.

The right blend

First three stages on video. Final stage in the office, half a day, including lunch with the team. That is the pattern that produces our highest retention numbers.
