The 4 stages
- Screen (30 min). Hiring manager. Mutual fit, scope, comp range.
- Craft (60 min). A scoped real-world exercise, no take-home over 90 minutes.
- Panel (90 min). Two structured interviews back-to-back with cross-functional peers.
- Founder + offer (45 min). Vision, expectations, verbal offer the same week.
What to cut
Anything that does not produce new information. Repeated culture interviews are the worst offender.
